NOTE: At St. Philip's, Chisasibi there has been concern that the baptism preparation needs to be more intensive. Hence, starting with this time for baptism, there will be 2 preparation sessions rather than only one. All of the baptismal parents and the godparents are being required to attend both of the sessions. Under normal circumstances the 4 postulants for ordination to the priesthood(non-stipendiary) would be leading these sessions, with myself. However, due to the Spring Goose hunt, most of them will be in the bush at this time. I understand, however, that at least one of them will be present to help lead these 2 sessions. It is anticipated that these postulants will take over the full preparation soon, and subsequent to their ordination, would also be the celebrants for the baptisms in Chisasibi.
